Russia loses 3 aircraft, 36 artillery systems and 920 troops in Ukraine overnight — General Staff

General Staff report: Ukrainian Armed Forces repel at least 30 Russian attacks in Novopavlivka direction

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces countered two Russian attacks near Petropavlivka and Tabaivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks near Terny, Yampolivka in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders beat back two Russian attacks near Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces rebuffed 25 Russian forces' attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian military forces are holding back the invading Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. The Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 30 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed one attack near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding their positions and repelling the Russian troops' attacks. Despite significant losses, the Russian forces are trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the invading Russian troops conducted four unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian troops' positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

The Russian forces launched 3 missile strikes and 91 air strikes against Ukraine

Over the last day, 83 combat engagements took place. In total, the Russian troops launched 3 missile strikes, 91 air strikes, fired 142 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

At night, the Russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine using Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Information regarding this attack is being clarified.

2 settlements in Kharkiv region; 2 settlements in Luhansk region; 18 settlements in Donetsk region; 6 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region were hit by air strikes.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian forces destroy three Russian fighter jets

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 10 Russian concentration of personnel areas.

Ukrainian Air Force units downed three Su-34 fighter-bombers.

Ukrainian missile troops struck 3 Russian concentration areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 3 BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 2 artillery pieces, 2 command posts, an ammunition depot, and electronic warfare equipment.

• The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the situation was the most intense in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions, where Russian troops carried out 22 attacks each.
