Emergency services scramble to put out fires, clear rubble, remove explosives after Russian shelling
Ukrainian emergency services respond to 15 fires caused by Russian shelling in Kharkiv and the region on March 30.

The Emergency Services’ Main Directorate in Kharkiv region reported on its operations during the day.
“Rescuers were deployed to extinguish fires in high-rise, private buildings, garages and outbuildings, as well as warehouses and hangars”, the service said.
There were 9 fires in Kharkiv’s Nemyshlyany district, 2 in Kharkiv itself, 3 in Izyum and 1 in Chuhuiv district.
Rescue services cleared rubble from destroyed buildings in Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district. Explosives specialists made 41 trips per day to safely remove Russian forces’ munitions.
