Emergency power outages are introduced in Cherkasy and Sumy regions due to missile attacks
By order of Ukrenergo, an electricity transmission system operator, emergency blackouts have been introduced in the Cherkasy and Sumy regions due to possible Russian missile attacks on energy facilities

This was reported by the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration and Sumyoblenergo.
In the Cherkasy region, special schedules of emergency shutdowns have been applied in 9 separate structural subdivisions in whole or in part.
“In order to prevent disruptions in the operation of Ukraine's unified energy system due to massive missile attacks, by order of Ukrenergo, an emergency shutdown was applied throughout the Sumy region,” the message says.
On the afternoon of December 5, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine.
