It is noted that the Russian forces are again trying to turn off the lights in the country. In particular, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged during a new large-scale missile attack.
"The attack is still ongoing, we cannot yet name the full scale of the damage, there are attacks on our infrastructure in all regions of the country, but the situation is most difficult in the northern and central regions. In this regard, emergency blackouts of all categories are introduced," Ukrenergo said.
Energy experts added that special schedules of emergency shutdowns have been introduced in Kyiv.
"We ask you to stay in the shelters and thank you for your understanding," Ukrenergo said.
