Eight Polish howitzers ready for transfer to Ukraine - media reports

It is noted that the equipment is waiting for the final formalities to be completed and will be transported to Ukraine.

Currently, the next training for the soldiers of the Ukrainian army, who will operate howitzers, is being completed in Poland.

It is emphasized that these howitzers are not free help, but a contract worth more than three billion zlotys, which provides for the production by the company Huta Stalowa Wola for the Ukrainian artillery of about 60 Krab and additional vehicles.  Such an agreement was signed between Ukraine and Poland in Kyiv at the beginning of June.

It should be added that the 155 mm Krab self-propelled gun weighs about 48 tons and can hit targets at a distance of 40 kilometers, firing up to 6 missiles per minute.The tracked chassis is manufactured under a Korean license, and the gun is a modification of British weapons.
