Dutch Prime Minister Rutte visits Irpin, Bucha and Borodyanka

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has visited Irpin, Bucha and Borodyanka in the Kyiv region

This was announced by the mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushyn, on Telegram.

"I have just spoken with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, who visited Irpin as part of a working visit to Ukraine. I gave him a presentation of the destruction of our city and asked for his country's help in rebuilding the destroyed homes of Irpin residents, our schools,as well as kindergartens. I also thanked Mr. Rutte  for the strong support of Ukraine and Ukrainians," Markushyn wrote.

According to Oleksiy Kuleba, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Rutte also visited Bucha and Borodyanka.

"The whole world knows about the tragic events in these settlements. However, no photos or videos convey the horror that the occupiers left behind. We are grateful to the politicians who personally come to the region. The head of the Dutch government expressed his support and emphasized that the countries must  "unite in helping Ukraine," Kuleba wrote.
