Due to significant S-400 losses, Russia needs to move air defense from borders to front – UK intelligence

Following reports of multiple S-400 missile systems being lost, Russia is likely to shift air defense equipment from distant locations to the front

The primary Russian long-range air defense systems, such as the S-400, can target objects up to 400 km away. These are usually situated in crucial spots and along Russia's borders. This move is expected to weaken Russian air defense on its outskirts.

"The reallocation of strategic air defense assets would further demonstrate how the Ukraine conflict continues to overextend Russia's military and strains its ability to retain baseline defenses across its vast area," mentioned the intelligence agency.
