Drones can reach many important objects deep in Russia – Defense Express expert Kyrychevskyi
Ukrainian drones could attack a number of facilities deep in Russia's territory, such as a missile production plant and oil terminals
Defense Express expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"If we take the Kremlin, they are preparing for the drone scenario. They are pouring concrete nearby to install the latest S-400s. If we take 120 kilometers north of Moscow, there is the Raduga plant in Dubna, where they produce Kh-101 missiles and will obviously produce Kh-50 missiles; our General Staff has talked about mass production of them. If 20 unmanned Strizh drones with explosives were to fly there and get to the workshops, it would disrupt their strategic plans as the Russians would not have expected it" he said.
Kyrychevskyi added that the Russian military remembered they had the pretty old Kh-50 missile. They are already beginning to prepare for the fall campaign of strikes.
"Other objects can be targeted – Russia's main oil exports go through the Black Sea. There are oil terminals in the Novorossiysk area, too close to the navy base – a drone has already attacked it once, and we can do it again. Apparently, they are not able to deploy anything more powerful than the Pantsir-S1 SAM. According to Libya's experience, they could shoot down up to 15 Bayraktars. A lot of important objects can be targeted," the expert summarized.
