Drone crashes into oil refinery in Kuban: fire breaks out

"Due to the attack of an unknown drone, the tank of the Ilsky refinery in the urban-type settlement of Ilsky in the Seversky district is on fire," said an emergency services source.

Telegram channels reported that the fire started at 02:40 am. According to eyewitnesses, they heard three explosions before the fire started.

Social media reports that the tank that caught fire contained diesel fuel. No one was injured during the fire.

"It's been another restless night for our emergency services. A fire has been confirmed at the Ilsky oil refinery in the Seversky district," wrote Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

According to the head of the regional Emergencies Ministry, the fire at the Ilsky refinery has been localized. To deal with the fire as quickly as possible, the grouping of forces has been increased to 167 people and 37 pieces of equipment.
