'DPR' will put 5 foreigners who fought for Ukraine on trial
The Russian-backed 'DPR's' supreme court will consider the case of five foreigners who fought on the Ukrainian side.
The statement was shared on the Telegram channel of the DPR pseudo-court.
"The proceedings of the Appellate Chamber of the "Supreme Court of the DNR" received a criminal case against foreign citizens Gustavsson Mathias, Prebeg Vekoslav, Harding John, Healy Dylan, Hill Andrew, who are accused of being hired soldiers," the message reads.
The British newspaper Telegraph adds that three of the foreigners are British citizens.
22-year-old Cambridgeshire aid worker Dylan Healy, military volunteer Andrew Hill and John Harding will be tried in the Russian-backed "Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic".
They will be tried along with two men from Croatia and Sweden as "foreign nationals accused of being hired."
It is reported that the men served in the "Azov" regiment and other units that were captured in Mariupol.
