Downed drone crashes into oil depot in Oryol, Russia, sparking blaze
On Sunday, September 17, Russia reported a drone attack on an oil depot in Russia’s Oryol region. One fuel tank was reportedly damaged, as a fire broke out at the crash site

The governor of the region, Andrey Klichkov.
According to him, at approximately 03:50 am Moscow time, the drone fell "on a non-residential facility in the Zheleznodorozhny district." The governor added that the crash site was cordoned off. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.
Later, Klichkov further commented that as of the morning of September 17, the open burning of a fuel tank on the territory of an industrial facility in Oryol had been completely eliminated.

On the night and morning of Sunday, September 17, Russia also reported a drone attack - eight UAVs were allegedly shot down by air defense forces in the skies over Crimea and Russia’s Moscow region.
