Double Russian PSYOP – military expert Svitan about Russian missiles over Romania
Radars in Romania, Ukraine, and Moldova could show different data on crossing the airspaces of the countries through different azimuths
This was stated by military expert Roman Svitan on Espreso TV.
"This is a Russian information and psychological operation. The route of the missile is laid by engineers. It does not deviate for a long distance, so the Russians laid the route along the border with Romania. This is to ensure that the radars of Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania show different information because they are located at different azimuths," he said.
According to Svitan, the projection on the ground is difficult to determine - only those who laid the route can know it.
"That's why it was laid specifically along the border with Romania to send an informational message. We saw what we saw - our locators showed that the missile at least passed along the border. This is another provocation - if our air defense system had worked, the missile or a part of it could have landed on the territory of Romania. This is a double information and psychological operation - it did not work, we started shooting down the missile. And the second - informational - worked, we are talking about it," the expert summarized.
