The Russian defense ministry is spreading a fake after a missile strike on grain trucks, claiming it allegedly destroyed 20 Defense Forces trucks carrying drones and personnel

This was reported by Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation on Telegram.

“The enemy’s defense ministry stated that Iskander-M missiles and Geran-2 drones allegedly destroyed 20 trucks transporting Ukrainian Armed Forces’ combat drones and 60 servicemen. As ‘proof,’ the Russian defense ministry released a video,” the statement said.

According to the Chernihiv regional prosecutor’s office, on the evening of September 30, Russian troops attacked trucks carrying grain crops with drones and missiles. A 47-year-old driver was killed in the strike.

The Center stressed that the fake about trucks with drones and destroyed Ukrainian soldiers is aimed at justifying yet another attack on civilian targets and concealing the death of a civilian.

“Moreover, even their so-called ‘evidence’ actually confirms a war crime rather than justifies it, since the footage shows civilian transport without any ‘drone trucks’ or military personnel,” the statement added.
