How Russian propaganda amplifies anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Poland
The Center for Countering Disinformation has identified the main propaganda tactics allegedly used by Russia in Poland, including efforts to provoke conflict in Polish-Ukrainian relations

"Russian propaganda employs various tactics to exploit social vulnerabilities in Poland while pushing narratives typical of Russian information warfare," the Center reported.
The main propaganda tactics used by Russia iclude:
- amplifying anti-Ukrainian and anti-immigrant sentiments,
- stirring hostility in Polish-Ukrainian relations,
- spreading narratives about the negative impact of aiding Ukraine,
- fueling public panic and creating information chaos in Poland,
- undermining trust in Poland's political leadership,
- casting doubt on the reliability of information from state institutions,
- instilling fear about the threat of nuclear energy in society.
"Russian propaganda seeks to exploit societal vulnerabilities to manipulate its target audience," the Center for Countering Disinformation stated.
According to the institution, Russian propaganda aims to "create confusion among the public, shift the tone of political discourse, and destabilize the country's internal situation."
