Difficult period may last for 3 months, but war's turning point has already come - Ukraine's NSDC Secretary
Predicting the war's end is difficult, and victory will not come quickly, but the turning point in the war has already been passed
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, shared his opinion with Radio Liberty.
"Unfortunately, today I cannot name the exact date, that it (victory - ed.) will come tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Hard work awaits ahead at the front line, which is long - more than 2,000 kilometers. We realise that we have to clear our entire country, including Crimea, of the filth that has come here. This is a hard job. And if someone says that it can be done in a week or two, I am not so optimistic. I realize that we have a lot of work to do this year," he said.
Danilov emphasized that the turning point in the war has already been passed.
"Yes, it will be difficult, we cannot relax, but believe me, everything will be fine. Let's wait... It will be a difficult period for at least a month and a half or two, maybe three. We have to go through this difficult path," the NSDC Secretary said.

Earlier, Danilov said that in 2023, Russian troops would try to break through the front line and encircle Ukrainian defenders, and would not give up efforts to capture the Ukrainian capital.
