Dictators find common ground as Putin gives Syria to Erdogan, and Turkey’s president supports Kremlin's interests in return - social activist Nevzlin

Russian-Israeli businessman and public figure Leonid Nevzlin says it is easy for two dictators like the presidents of Turkey and Russia to reach agreement, which is why Putin is handing Syria over to Erdogan, while the latter supports the Kremlin's interests in other ways

One of the former leaders of the Yukos oil company shared details on the air of Espreso.

"Two dictators will find it much easier to reach an agreement than a dictator with a democratic leader. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's condition is Syria. Russian President Vladimir Putin is already inferior to Erdogan with Syria. And Turkey’s president supplies a large amount of the Kremlin's interests: personal favours, contraband, etc.", - said Nevzlin.

The public figure added that Turkey is becoming a kind of a hub for the Russian leadership.

“The Kremlin, through oligarch Roman Abramovich, has agreed that Turkey will be a very important hub for the Russian government in all respects. For example one of the companies connected to Gazprom has bought a large clinic in Turkey. Russian businessman Yevgen Prygozhyn also pays frequent visits to Turkey and is building some sort of real estate there," Leonid Nevzlin said.
