Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said this at an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers on October 2.
"We must do what it takes to support Ukraine. Early reconstruction is needed now and cannot wait for the war to end. We are opening an embassy office in Mykolaiv to strengthen our presence on the ground and our dialogue with local authorities," he said.
A place for the office has already been found. A Danish diplomat has also been selected to head it. In the near future, the embassy will post vacancies for recruitment and officially open the office in Mykolaiv.
