Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate 800 invaders, 44 artillery systems and 7 tanks - General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on October 25.

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from 24.02.22 to 25.10.23 amounted to approximately:

General Staff's report: Ukrainian army repelled Russian attacks in 6 directions

Ukraine's General Staff writes about it.

The operational situation remains without significant changes near the border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, carries out active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to critical frontline areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled about 10 Russian attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukraine's troops held steadfastly and successfully repelled all hostile attacks near Nadiia and Makiivka in Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian military repulsed about 10 Russian attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued assault operations south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian army, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka direction, the Russian forces keep trying to surround Avdiivka and actively use aviation, but Ukrainian soldiers are holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the Russian enemy. Russia's offensive actions were unsuccessful in the areas of 4 settlements in Donetsk region, where the defense forces repelled over 10 attacks.

In the Marinka direction, the Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Marinka and Pobieda in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops defeated more than 20 hostile attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, Ukrainian defenders repulsed all Russia's attacks near 5 settlements in Donetsk and  Zaporizhzhia regions.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued their offensive in the Melitopol direction, having partially succeeded west of Verbove, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the invading forces, and depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers are conducting counter-battery combat and inflicting fire on Russia's rear.

Russian army launches 6 missile strikes and 51 air strikes on Ukraine's territory

About 80 combat clashes took place over the past day.

In total, Russia launched 6 missile strikes and 51 air strikes, fired 66 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Russian terrorist attacks resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Multifamily and private residential buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.

In addition, on the night of October 25, the Russian invaders struck again at Ukraine, using 11 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the UAVs.

The air strikes hit 1 settlement in Chernihiv region; 3 in Kharkiv region; 2 in Luhansk region; 7 in Donetsk region; Zmiivka, 6 in Kherson region.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 12 artillery units and a Russian logistics hub

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 13 strikes on the areas of Russia's personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and 3 strikes on its anti-aircraft missile systems.

The missile troops destroyed 12 artillery units, a logistics hub, a command post, an air defense system, and also hit two areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

• A Ukrainian subversive reconnaissance group landed near the village of Pidstepne and seized a section of the road connecting 3 settlements.
