Ukrainian armed forces eliminate 1030 invaders, 26 tanks and 44 artillery systems - General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on October 13.

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from February 24, 22 to October 13, 23 are estimated to be:

General Staff report: Ukraine's army conducted assault operations near Bakhmut, consolidating their positions

In the area of responsibility of the North operational-strategic group, near the border with Belarus, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, carries out active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to dangerous areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 5 Russian attacks near Synkivka and 8 attacks near Ivanivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian troops keep holding back Russia's offensive in the vicinity of Makiivka, southwest of Kreminna and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region, where the defenders repelled over 5 attacks.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukraine's forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian enemy, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army keeps trying to break through Ukraine's defenses, but to no avail. Ukrainian defenders repulsed over 20 enemy attacks in the area of 5 localities in Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled over 10 attacks in the area of Marinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region yesterday.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian invaders did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the invaders unsuccessfully tried to regain their lost position near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces are engaged in counter-battery combat, destroying warehouses and successfully hitting Russia's rear.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensives in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.

Russian army launches 4 missile strikes and 65 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the past day, 64 combat clashes took place on the frontline.

In total, the Russian forces launched 4 missile strikes and 65 air strikes, fired 54 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Air strikes affected 2 settlements in Sumy region; 4 in Luhansk region; 11 in Donetsk region; 1 in Zaporizhzhia region; 5 in Kherson region.

About 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit an area of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration 

Over the course of the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes on areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, 3 on control points and 4 on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.

Missile units hit an area where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, 10 artillery units and a Russian command post.

• The Institute for the Study of War said that in three days, Russian troops captured 4.52 square kilometers of territory from different directions near Avdiivka. The invaders suffered significant losses in equipment and manpower.
