Death toll rises after Russian attack on 4-apartment building in Vilniansk
As of 7 p.m. on November 18, 10 people were known to have been killed as a result of the Russian shelling of Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia region
Alisa Sysoeva, a journalist and member of the Zaporizhzhia District Council, said this on Espreso TV.
“The last official notification from the police was an hour ago. We know about 10 dead people in the Vilniansk residential building. Search operations are continuing, people are being pulled out from under the rubble,” she said.
In the morning of November 18, the deputy head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, reported on Telegram that 2 more dead bodies were found in Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia region.
Thus, in the morning, the total number of people killed as a result of the missile attack on residential buildings was 9 civilians.
Search and rescue efforts are still ongoing at the site.
Earlier it was reported that the bodies of 7 people were found. The infrastructure was also destroyed.
