Danilov calls Bild article about disagreements between Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi "fake news" spread by Russia
Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov has called the Bild article on the disagreements between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi a "Russian-manufactured fake news”
Danilov made the statement on the United News national telethon.
"Some people really want us to have discord here. I would like to point out that one of the issues that Russia has always raised is internal destabilization," Danilov said when asked to comment on the article by the German edition of Bild that Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Valerii Zaluzhnyi allegedly had differences of opinion on the defense of Bakhmut.
He emphasized that Russia is trying to stir up the situation in Ukraine by spreading fake news on sensitive topics.
"Russia cannot defeat us militarily. The issue of internal destabilization is very important for them. Today, Russia is considering the so-called Minsk-3, they are doing everything possible and impossible for this to happen, involving some figures who headed strategic research institutes during Yanukovych's time," Danilov said.
