Taras Berezovets, political scientist and officer with the First Separate Special Forces Brigade named after Ivan Bohun of the AFU Land Forces, shared his opinions on Espreso TV.
"As for the situation near Bakhmut, I would say that the critical point of this battle has not been reached yet. It is still ahead; the enemy will try to capture Bakhmut and Soledar. We will pass this peak point by the end of January. After we receive the necessary amount of armored vehicles, we will be ready to conduct full-scale offensive successful operations, similar to those that were carried out in Kharkiv and Kherson regions," he said.
- On January 8, the Institute for the Study of War reported that the statements by the Russian military about the inevitable encirclement of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, are not true.
