Ukrainian director and writer, Crimean Oleg Sentsov, who is currently serving with Ukraine's Armed Forces, has shared a photo taken in the Kherson direction

Oleg Sentsov posted the photo on Facebook.

A former prisoner of the Kremlin, director Oleg Sentsov is now defending Ukraine from the invading Russian forces in the south.

"Somewhere over there, behind us, is our beloved Crimea. We are getting a little closer to it, but we still have a hard way to go. But I hope that next year we will release you, just wait!" - Oleg Sentsov wrote.
