Creating picture for IAEA: Russian army fires at Energodar, seeks to blame Ukrainian Armed Forces
Russian forces have been shelling Energodar to give the IAEA commission the impression that the city is being shelled from the Ukrainian side.
Yevhen Yevtushenko, the head of the Nikopol military administration, reported this on Telegram.
"On the opposite bank, the Russian army is shelling Energodar. The purpose of this action is to create a suitable picture for the IAEA commission and to form a pool of local residents who, under media cameras, will inform the commission about the shelling of the city from our side of the reservoir. Do you remember the crucified boy in panties? The same, only now they are trying to put "panties'' on the residents of Energodar," writes Yevtushenko.
Also, the regional head warns local residents about the danger.
"The situation with provocations is dangerous because at any moment the Horde can turn their howitzers in our direction. Be careful and stay away from open areas if possible," the message reads.
