The Ministry of Energy reported on the situation in the energy sector.
According to the ministry, on September 21, in the afternoon, restrictions were imposed on the production of renewable energy sources with a total capacity of 300 MW for an hour. At the same time, the building of one of the TPP units was repaired and restored, adding 125 MW of capacity to the grid.
In the Sumy region, about 3,000 consumers were left without electricity due to Russian attacks on power facilities. Due to shelling of the border areas, 3 overhead power lines were de-energized, and 24 lines were damaged in the region in total.
Also, over 2,000 people lost power due to damage to transmission lines in the Kharkiv region overnight, but the military allowed the repair work to begin.
Restoration works are also underway in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Chernihiv regions, where some consumers are left without electricity.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukrenergo's 330 kV overhead power line was out of service, but the line was restored automatically and there were no blackouts.
In Kherson, over 800 access points were restored yesterday, but about 3,000 consumers remain without power. Repairs are slowed down due to intense shelling.
