Russian troops strike car with civilians in Kherson region: one killed
On October 13, the Russian occupying army hit a car with civilians in Beryslav, Kherson region, with a drone, killing a woman
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
"The invaders hit a car with people with a “kamikaze” drone. There were two local residents in the car. A 34-year-old woman died on the spot due to numerous injuries. Her 36-year-old husband was hospitalized in an extremely severe condition," he wrote.
Two people were also injured as a result of a grenade dropped from a drone, including a 79-year-old woman who was hospitalized in moderate condition.
"Another man has a concussion, injuries to his limbs, head, and back," Prokudin said.
Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, commented on the tragedy in Beryslav.
"This is a deliberate hunt for civilians. Russians do it all the time, they raise UAVs, track them down, drop grenades from drones... There is no doubt that the Russian military saw civilians in the car - UAV optics allow them to do so. But the Russians' goal is genocide. Their hatred for everything Ukrainian, for our people, has turned into terrorist methods of warfare," he wrote.
Yermak also compared the actions of Islamists in Israel to those of the Russian occupying troops.
"The same thing that is happening in Israel, the Russians have been doing since the first days of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine and continue these terrorist actions now," the head emphasized.
"Today we must unite and give a tough response. Terror understands only force," he added.
