The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports.
Analysts note that the official readouts of the meeting between the two sides do not include any mentions of Russia’s war in Ukraine. In addition, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin confirmed China's intention to promote peace talks in Ukraine.
"ISW previously assessed that Putin was unable to secure a no-limits bilateral partnership with China during Xi’s visit to Moscow, and it is likely that the meeting between Li and Putin did not further expand the scope of Russian-Chinese cooperation," the analysts wrote.

ISW experts noted in the same report that Prigozhin returns Putin's favor amid the army's failures.
