China starts playing dirty: it uses Russia to destroy collective West
National Institute for Strategic Studies analyst Yizhak believes that China's peacekeeping role is yet to be seen
He said this on Espresso TV.
"There are two theories regarding China; the vote in the UN Security Council will show China's position. Some believe that China has started playing a dirty game. It is using Russia as a tyrant to destroy the Western Alliances both in the direction of Japan and in the direction of Europe and the USA. Others believe that China was trying to do something. I had the impression that China would try to offer Russia a peaceful withdrawal of troops from Ukraine, restoration of its territorial integrity, and then urge Ukraine to never become part of the West. China had such an idea, but it would be a difficult choice for us," Yizhak noted.
According to the analyst, leaders of Russia and China have not agreed on anything regarding the war in Ukraine.
"Judging by the Moscow negotiations, nothing worked out. The leaders of both countries didn’t reach anything, so China has nothing to say. We still don’t see China's great peacekeeping role," Yizhak added.
