China responds to Trump’s claims of conspiracy against U.S.
China responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s accusations against Beijing, Russia, and North Korea of plotting against the United States, stating that developing diplomatic relations is not directed against third parties
A spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this, Ukrinform reported.
“China’s development of diplomatic relations with any country is not aimed against third parties,” he stated.
The diplomat emphasized that Beijing invited foreign guests to events marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people in the war of resistance against Japanese aggressors and the world anti-fascist war, in order to “preserve history, cherish peace, and build the future together with peace-loving countries and peoples.”
At the same time, he added that China seeks to build a “fairer system of global governance” with Russia.
“China and Russia are ready to adhere to the agreements between their leaders, continue fruitful cooperation in various fields, play an active role in resolving major international and regional issues, and work together to create a fairer and more rational system of global governance,” the spokesperson concluded.
