China may back “peaceful conflict resolution” between Russia, Ukraine

"China is likely to propose a solution that allows Putin to save face, similar to the "zero option" used in negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia. This solution may be the Minsk-2 agreement, which was previously approved by the UN Security Council. China always emphasizes legitimization in international relations through the UN, rather than the decisions of the US or the EU," he believes.
