The statement by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi refers to the physical and psychological fatigue experienced by the staff after continuous work for almost three weeks.
"211 people - technical staff and security officers - still cannot change. They took over on the eve of the Russian invasion of the territory of the facility. Due to the fact that the situation is deteriorating, the IAEA initiative to ensure safety and security is becoming increasingly important for nuclear power plants in Ukraine", Grossi said.
