The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a new selection of Russian fakes made up on February 10
This was reported by Espreso TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on February 10, the Russians launched three major deceptions.
Disinformation: Russian media reported: "Valeriy Zaluzhnyi at the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief reported on the increase in the number of casualties over the last month of fighting, which exceeded last year's monthly losses... The new stage of the war differs from the methods of 2022, when the Russian Armed Forces used moderate tactics of warfare. Now the strategy of exhausting the Ukrainian Armed Forces with maximum artillery and aviation strikes is being used."
Fake: Russian media reported that "forced mobilization of the population continues in Ukraine. Employees of the military commissariats have to "run on the lawns" catching people so that they themselves are not sent to the battlefield as cannon fodder. ... Everything would have been over long ago if the West had not added fuel to the fire in the form of finance and equipment."
Disinformation: Russian Consul General in Houston Alexander Zakharov stated: "Export-import operations have severely plummeted due to unilateral US sanctions. ... This does not meet the interests of American companies in any way.”
