According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on September 12, the Russians launched three major deceptions.

Disinformation: Russian permanent delegate to UNESCO Sh. Alyautdinov stated: "Western countries are preventing a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, pushing this country to continue hostilities, supplying Kyiv with weapons and ammunition. Many cultural sites have been damaged by these weapons."

Manipulation: Russian Foreign Minister S. Lavrov said: "the longer Kyiv drags out negotiations with Moscow, the more difficult it will be to reach an agreement."

Disinformation: At the Eastern Economic Forum, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin said that "Ukraine has lost 71,500 people since the beginning of the counteroffensive."

  • Fake news is spread on Spanish-language Telegram channels that the reason for the Russian army's defeats in Ukraine is Russian President Vladimir Putin's alleged unwillingness to kill Christians.
