Center for Countering Disinformation releases Russian fakes of December 22 compilation
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of fakes produced by Russia on December 22, Espreso TV reports.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on December 22, Russia has launched 3 major deceptions.
Manipulation: Vice Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said that Russia has a right to consider the supply of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine as a step towards the direct involvement of the US in the war: "In any case, no matter what the US president claims, we have the right to consider this supply as a significant step towards America's direct involvement in the conflict."
Disinformation: The Telegraph columnist Hamish de Bretton-Gordon stated that "Zelenskyy's visit to the United States suggests that some Western countries are growing weary of the conflict in Ukraine, and that Kyiv is therefore considering it important to step up efforts to secure military aid from abroad."
Disinformation: Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that "Volodymyr Zelenskyy's trip to the United States confirms that the conciliatory statements of the US administration about the lack of intention to enter into confrontation with Russia are empty.”
