Center for Countering Disinformation publishes Russia’s fake news compilation for March 9
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of Russian-produced fake news for March 9
Espreso TV reported the information.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation, on March 9, Russia launched 3 major deceptions.
Manipulation: French politician Marine Le Pen said that "the events in Ukraine could lead to a 'hundred-year war' if the West continues to supply offensive weapons to Kyiv. Ukraine cannot win - only if NATO comes to the rescue. But then China will enter the conflict."
Disinformation: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that "we were close to reaching an agreement on a protection zone around the Zaporizhzhia NPP, but it was blocked by Kyiv.”
At the same time, he said that "Russia sees no desire on the part of the Ukrainian side to start a serious conversation on resolving the situation."
Disinformation: American politician Douglas McGregor said that the West underestimated Russia. The army US armed in Ukraine has been destroyed and all that has been achieved is weakening NATO. Now the US has to admit that they made a mistake and have to come to an agreement. If it doesn't, nothing will stop the Russians from reaching the Polish border, Douglas McGregor claimed.
