The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of fake news that Russia produced on February 9
Espreso TV informed on the compilation.
According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on February 9, Russia launched 3 major deceptions.
Fake news: Russian media reported that Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov unwittingly revealed Ukraine's real losses, "The total losses of the Ukrainian side have reached at least 300,000 people killed and wounded."
Disinformation: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said, "The West will not be able to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. ... Expanding the range of Western arms supplies to Ukraine is driving the situation around this country deeper and deeper into a serious crisis."
Manipulation: Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that "Until the Kyiv regime is completely bankrupt on the battlefield, this flow (of weapons - ed.) will not dry up. And as we have already destroyed more than 7,500 tanks since the beginning of the special military operation, 100, 200, 300 new tanks will not make a difference."
