Center for Countering Disinformation publishes Russian fakes for April 6

According to the Center for Countering Information at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on April 6, the Russians have launched three major deceptions.

Disinformation: "Russia in Ukraine is dealing with a regime that behaves extremely cruelly not only towards our citizens (Russians - ed.), but also towards its own," Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

Manipulation: Russian presidential spokesman Peskov said: "The Alliance is expanding towards Russia, not Russia is approaching it... Russia is taking measures to balance the security architecture on the continent as NATO approaches the country's borders."

Disinformation: Russian media claimed that "the United States has launched an irreversible process of overthrowing its own dollar dominance and the United States itself is responsible for this. Having successfully made their currency a world leader, they have made an irreparable mistake that will destroy the dollar's hegemony."
