Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fakes produced by Russia on July 9
This is reported by Espreso TV.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on July 9, the Russians launched three major deceptions.
Manipulation: Ex-President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said: "Russia began to be reckoned with in a real way, like the USSR. And in some ways more seriously, judging by the set of sanctions. Not so long ago, it was different when we were not invited to meetings where economic and defense issues of Western countries were discussed".
Misinformation: Russian mass media, with reference to the American publication The American Thinker, reported that "the conflict in Ukraine could have been avoided if the neutral status of Kyiv, the autonomy of Donbas, and the recognition of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation were announced."
Manipulation: Collaborators-"leaders" of the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region reported that: "the administration of Zaporizhzhia region appealed to the Russian authorities for help with gas supply, as the Kyiv regime turned off the gas supply to the region."
