CCD publishes Russian fakes for February 14
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fakes produced by Russia on February 14
Espreso TV reports about this.
According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on February 14, the Russians launched three major deceptions.
Disinformation: Russian media, citing Russian political scientist V. Bruter, reported that "the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing diversions on the territory of Russia for the anniversary of the "special military operation".
Disinformation: Quoting Russian political scientist B. Bezpalko, Russian media reported: "pushing Ukraine to active hostilities, the United States expects to see a "demonstration of success". ... If Ukraine loses, there will be no need to provide it with aid. Then it will make sense to negotiate with Russia on the division of spheres of influence, the division of Ukraine, etc."
Disinformation: Lü Xiang, a political scientist at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said: "The Russian Federation has generally achieved the strategic goals set during the 'special military operation', while Ukraine is unable to maintain its defense without the support of the United States and NATO. ... Supplying Ukraine with more effective weapons will lead to more serious consequences. ... Poland and Romania will be the first to suffer in the case of escalation."
