Justin Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister, announced new sanctions against Russia, which will be imposed on individuals and organizations involved in holding a pseudo-referendum in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

"We intend to impose new sanctions against the individuals and organizations involved in this latest attempt to undermine the principles of state sovereignty, and who share responsibility for the ongoing senseless bloodshed in Ukraine," Trudeau said.
He added that Canada does not recognize the results of fake "referendums" or Russia's attempts to illegally annex Ukrainian territories.
