On Saturday, February 4, the Canadian authorities sent the first Leopard 2 tank to Ukraine

Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand shared this update on Twitter.

"Battle tanks are on their way to help Ukraine.The first Canadian Leopard 2 is en route. Canada's support for Ukraine is unwavering," Anand writes.

On January 26, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand announced that her country would send four Leopard 2 tanks, as well as Canadian soldiers who would train Ukrainian crews.
