Cameras and sensors that recognize drones and missiles will be installed at power plants - Nebytov
The head of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kyiv region, Andrii Nebytov, said that special cameras and sensors that will recognize missiles and drones will be installed at Ukrainian power plants
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
It is noted that these cameras and sound sensors will detect enemy aircraft at a certain distance. Then they will notify the air defense forces about them.
"We are following the path of development, because we are in the capital, and this is the place for security innovations," Nebytov said.
He added that in the zone of the Chornobyl NPP, surveillance means have already been installed, which are not yet available in Ukraine. With their help, law enforcement officers can see and record everything that happens, even at night.
"The readiness for defense here is already at a completely different qualitative level. Now the army servicemen work together with the police, emergency services, and intelligence officers. We are also introducing modern security systems, in particular in the context of securing the border with Belarus," said Nebytov.
