Bulgarian Defense Minister Todor Tagarev said this during a briefing in Odesa, Ukrinform reports.
"In preparation for the Vilnius summit, Bulgaria supported this proposal as much as circumstances allowed, because joining NATO requires the end of hostilities," Todor Tagarev said.
He added that as soon as the war is over, Ukraine should have a very clear and fast alliance with NATO.
"We support the final text of the Vilnius summit on Ukraine. And in terms of the action plan, we can say that we have moved from several steps to one step for Ukraine to join NATO," the Defense Minister added.
