Bulgaria additionally allocates $20 million to support refugees from Ukraine
The Bulgarian government has approved 37 million levs (about $20 million) of additional funding for humanitarian support of Ukrainians who have found temporary shelter in the country.

"Government has approved additional expenditures of Ministry of Tourism budget for 2022 in the amount of 37,620,000 leva for provision of humanitarian assistance to displaced persons seeking temporary protection in Bulgaria as a result of military operations in Ukraine, for periods of February 24 - May 31, 2022, and June 1, 2022 - February 24, 2023," the message says.
Funds will be allocated through cost savings and/or transfers from the state budget for 2022.
