British ambassador congratulates Ukraine on liberating Kherson
British Ambassador Melinda Simmons said that she followed the events surrounding Kherson’s liberation and congratulated the Ukrainian people

Simmons shared her support on Twitter.
“Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson. I and my team live and work among heroes,” she tweeted.
Simmons added that she had been following the events surrounding the liberation of the city the day before.
"Have literally not been able to concentrate on much else all day," Simmons wrote.
- On November 12, OC South reported that vanguard of the Armed Forces reached the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.
- ISW estimated that the Ukrainian military will swiftly take control of the settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River, as the Russians are unable to hold them. The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that the Ukrainian military is carrying out stabilization measures in the liberated settlements of the Kherson region, and the Russian occupiers are building defensive structures on Dnipro’s left bank.
