“This is the most urgent issue. If we don't do this, the outcome of the war will be in jeopardy,” Borrell said.
He noted that the occupying Russian forces fire about 50,000 shells a day, so Ukraine should be at the same level of capability.
“They have artillery, but they lack ammunition,” Borrell emphasized.
According to media reports, Estonia has proposed that EU countries invest EUR 4 billion in ammunition for Ukraine.
