EU Foreign Policy сhief Josep Borrell has called on 27 EU member states to speed up the production and supply of ammunition for Ukraine
He said this on February 20, arriving at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, Radio Liberty reports.
“This is the most urgent issue. If we don't do this, the outcome of the war will be in jeopardy,” Borrell said.
He noted that the occupying Russian forces fire about 50,000 shells a day, so Ukraine should be at the same level of capability.
“They have artillery, but they lack ammunition,” Borrell emphasized.
