Bodies of 40 dead residents of high-rise building identified in Dnipro, 9 more people missing

40 bodies out of 46 people who died as a result of the Russian missile attack on a high-rise building in Dnipro on January 14, were identified. Another 9 people are considered missing.

Deputy Chief of Police of Dnipropetrovsk region Volodymyr Bohonis stated this at a briefing on January 23, Suspilne reports.

"As a result of the strike, 127 people were injured, 46 of them died, including six children. 40 people were identified. Nine people are considered missing. Six body fragments were found," he said.

According to Bohonis, identification of the dead is ongoing and may take about two weeks.

In addition, police continue to receive complaints about damage to property. In particular, 431 applications were received for property damage, 47 for car damage, and 10 for administrative buildings.
