Blockade of Mariupol is Putin's personal decision: he needs the city to fall - Denysenko
Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Denydenko expressed the opinion that the Russian blockade of Mariupol and the resulting humanitarian catastrophe are taking place in pursuance of the personal order of Russian President Vladimir Putin
Denysenko stated this on the air of Espresso.TV.
"We must understand that Russian President Vladimir Putin is directly involved in regulating humanitarian corridors in Mariupol. That is, all issues related to the blockade of Mariupol are personal decisions of the Russian President. Yesterday's shelling of a column of civilians evacuated towards Zaporizhzhya is a fact that even with the agreed things, the Russian Federation starts shelling, which indicates that Putin does not want to go to any humanitarian corridors", Denysenko said.
According to the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Putin seeks to announce the cleansing of Mariupol from "nationalists", so he needs the city to fall.
"Unfortunately, the situation with Mariupol is catastrophic so far only because of one person - because Vladimir Putin forbids his bastards from making any humanitarian corridors", Denysenko said.
