This was stated by White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Voice of America reports.
Jake Sullivan announced the appeal of senior US officials to the Congress to provide Ukraine with almost $ 38 billion in humanitarian and military assistance. He added that the Joe Biden administration is doing everything to ensure that Ukrainians defend the sovereignty of their state and its territorial integrity.
"We know that our job is to continue providing military support to Ukraine. So, they are in the best possible position on the battlefield, and if diplomacy is ripe, [...] at the negotiating table," the White House National Security Advisor said.
